Release /
Framelink MCP for Figma v0.12.0
Send a separate Figma personal access token with each HTTP request.
Before you upgrade to v0.12.0
3 to fixSet `--format` and server `OUTPUT_FORMAT` only to `yaml`, `json`, or `tree`; invalid configured values now fail instead of silently falling back. Remove invalid environment values even when a CLI format is supplied.

What changed in v0.12.0
HTTP requests accept X-Figma-Token without a globally configured credential. Tree output is opt-in, while image paths must resolve within the configured image directory and invalid output-format values fail validation.
Also: Experimental tree output, stricter image paths and format validation, recovered layout details, and a fix for late progress notifications.
Install [email protected]; requires Node.js >=20.20.0 and Figma API credentials.
New things you can do
Access Figma through HTTP using a personal access token supplied per request.
Read Figma design context as a compact indented tree.
Fixed and improved
Images pasted from other files without `imageRef` can be rendered by `nodeId`; successful downloads report their resolved destination.
SECTION children retain positions, dimensions follow the parent layout axis, and flex layouts with fewer than 10 shape children retain structure instead of becoming one SVG.
Late progress notifications no longer arrive after completed fetch responses and crash strict stdio clients; missing-node errors give branch-key and supported-URL guidance.
