--action-on-enter runs a save, copy or exit when Enter is pressed.
ImprovedCopy the annotated image to the clipboard or save it to a file named by date, and exit right after.

Dragging outside the crop area starts a new crop, and dragging near a handle grabs that handle, so a misclick no longer loses the selection.
