Apify MCP Server v0.14.2
Read Apify data directly through MCP resources.
Before you upgrade to v0.14.2
2 to fixList response text returns to JSON instead of TOON; `structuredContent` remains available.
Actor search and details no longer report the Runs succeeded statistic.
Remove direct access to `ActorsMcpServer.server` and `.taskStore`; both members are now private to the transport adapter. Use the public `connect()` and `close()` lifecycle methods; no replacement for raw member access is stated.
What changed in v0.14.2
API-backed resources expose storage and run data; `add-actor` is retired and 2026-07-28 MCP requests gain a stateless HTTP path.
Available in @apify/actors-mcp-server 0.14.2; local use requires Node.js 22+. Enable non-default tools explicitly.
New things you can do
Read Apify API data through MCP resource URLs.
Report a problem with an Apify tool or Actor to the Apify team.
Fixed and improved
The HTTP server accepts 2026-07-28 stateless MCP requests alongside legacy session-based Streamable HTTP.
Cancelling proxied Actor-MCP calls propagates cancellation and no longer reports the call as a failure.
Going away
`add-actor` is deleted. Run discovered Actors through `call-actor` or configure Actor tools before connecting.
