Omarchy Ask v0.8.0
Find agents through an Agentd Hub and open their local or remote terminal sessions.
Before you upgrade to v0.8.0
3 to fixEnsure `python3` is installed for agent-to-window discovery; the bundled resolver uses the host Python runtime.

Matching files now sort newest-modified first in mixed results and `@` file search.

Mixed results now show category counts, Go matches and balanced examples; single-match categories show their item directly. Ask also adds a desktop menu entry.
Use `Ctrl+,` for the unified settings window instead of `Super+,`; agent choices apply immediately to new conversations. The window also contains Hub configuration and scroll tuning.

`Ctrl+,` now opens a movable settings window containing the scroll-motion curve instead of the separate motion editor; the overlay returns after settings close.

`useHyprlandShortcutSubmap` is ignored and Ask no longer enters or resets modal submaps. Automatic module loading reserves only Ask shortcuts; without support, system bindings win conflicts.
Restart Omarchy Shell after updating. For shortcut precedence, provide the supported Hyprland build, matching development headers, Node, make, pkg-config and a C++23 compiler; otherwise system conflicts take precedence.
What changed in v0.8.0
`&` searches Hub agents; remote tmux sessions open in Ghostty using configurable `et`, `mosh` or `ssh` transport. This release also adds image paste and transcript thumbnails, streaming file search, and a settings window on `Ctrl+,`.
Also: Paste images into chat, search files as results arrive, use unified settings and switch to windows on Scottland.
Available in v0.8.0; update the plugin, run `npm ci` in `bridge`, then restart Omarchy Shell. Hub agents need Python 3; remote attachment needs Ghostty, tmux and the chosen transport. Eternal Terminal needs `etserver` on the remote host.
New things you can do
`&` lists agents and `&name` filters by name. Configure the Hub in settings; transport choices are `auto`, `et`, `mosh`, `ssh` or `local`.
`agentdHub.transport` defaults to `auto`: reachable et first, then mosh, then ssh. et/mosh startup failure falls back to `ssh -tt`; normal detach does not reconnect.

`Ctrl+V` accepts image data or copied image files. Failed submissions restore an empty draft or offer Retry original without overwriting newer text.

Scottland window access uses Wayfire IPC directly; selecting a window presents it rather than only focusing it.
Fixed and improved
Local and mounted sources now stream independently; stalled sources do not discard other results. Selection and previews stay with the same item when later results reorder the list.
