List files with colors, icons, Git status and a tree view, with a long view of extended details and themes set in a theme.yml file.
What you can do with eza
See each file's Git status, or each directory's repository status, in the long view.
Show directories recursively as a tree with `-T`/`--tree`.
Show extended details such as permissions, sizes, dates, owners and extended attributes with `-l`.
Display entries as clickable hyperlinks with `--hyperlink`.
Set colors and icons in a `theme.yml` file, or use a pre-made theme.
List file names read from standard input with `--stdin`.
Count lines of code, comments and blanks by language with `--code`, or show them per file in the long view with `--loc`.

Before you upgrade eza
Newest firstData piped into eza is no longer ignored: it is read as file names. Stop piping into eza in scripts that expected it to list the current directory.
`--grid` now prints a grid when output is piped instead of one entry per line; drop `--grid` from scripts that parse the output.
Use `--treat-dirs-as-files` instead of `--list-dirs`; the old name still works as an alias but will be removed.

Count lines of code by language with `eza --code`.
Details
`--code` prints a summary of code, comment and blank lines by language; `--loc` adds lines-of-code and language columns to the long view, with `lines`, `percent` or `both` modes. `--hyperlink=auto` adds links only when output is a terminal.

Data piped into eza is now read as file names automatically, and `eza --stdin` reads standard input; `--grid` now prints a grid even when output is not a terminal. Groups v0.22.1 and v0.23.0; the icon set was refreshed.

The `-d` flag now behaves more like `ls`, and its long name is `--treat-dirs-as-files`; `--list-dirs` stays as an alias that is to be removed in a future release.
