Before you upgrade to v0.8.1
1 to fixWhat changed in v0.8.1
IMAP send-as aliases, STARTTLS for IMAP and SMTP, a Contacts button filling recipients from Thunderbird or contacts.json/.vcf, a unified calendar view, per-mailbox signatures, Spam/Junk on the rail, v to move to a label or folder, saving attachments, and naming a mailbox. Groups v0.7.0 to v0.8.1.
Also: Failed sends return to the composer; sent mail carries Message-ID and Date; the bar icon can be hidden; mail with a wrong charset header reads correctly.
v0.8.1, a security update recommended for all earlier versions.
Fixed and improved
Send-as aliases on IMAP, per-mailbox signatures, and recipients from an address book.
IMAP and SMTP servers that need STARTTLS, such as iCloud on 587, now connect; 163.com mailboxes load.
v moves a message to a Gmail label or IMAP folder; messages can be moved back to the inbox.
A Unified calendar view switch shows every account's calendars at once.
