Omarchy Bitwarden omawarden-0.9.0
Generate passwords and Diceware passphrases from the overlay or command line.
Before you upgrade to omawarden-0.9.0
1 to fixCard numbers display in brand-aware groups, including masked values. `Enter` and the card-copy action copy digits only, stripping spaces and other formatting.
HTTP `User-Agent` identifies the engine version and, when detected, the plugin version; interactive CLI requests identify `Omawarden`, while detected overlay requests identify `Omarchy_Bitwarden`.
What changed in omawarden-0.9.0
Plugin 0.12.0 adds a generator opened with `Ctrl+G`; engine 0.9.0 adds `omawarden generate`, passphrase options, JSON output, and clipboard copying. The grouped 0.11.3/0.8.2 releases change TLS trust, server identification and card display/copy, and fix search persistence and modal focus.
Also: Connect using system-trusted private CAs, sign in to Vaultwarden 1.37.4+, retain searches on reopen, and copy card numbers as digits.
Use plugin 0.12.0 with omawarden 0.9.0 for generation; the general engine minimum remains 0.8.1. Install the engine via AUR or GitHub Releases; the overlay needs Omarchy Shell, Secret Service and wl-clipboard.
New things you can do
Use `Ctrl+G` or `omawarden generate`; CLI options include `--passphrase`, `--words`, `--separator`, `--avoid-ambiguous`, `--copy`, and `--json`. CLI generation does not require unlocking.
Fixed and improved
Engine 0.8.2 supports system-trusted private CAs and Vaultwarden 1.37.4+ prelogin. Private-CA deployments must trust their CA in the OS store; certificate verification remains enforced.
Reopening the overlay no longer clears remembered search state by aborting an in-flight authentication-status request.
