Before you upgrade to v0.74.5
2 to fixCompute sizes before calling `fzf-tmux` and pass a numeric size such as `-l50` or `-l50%`; attached values are now validated rather than evaluated as bash arithmetic, addressing GHSA-w6x2-f5m4-xw82.
What changed in v0.74.5
`--popup` preserves zoom on tmux 3.8+, and `focus` fires after `reload` even when the new item occupies the same position. Terminal escape sequences no longer leak into the query or swallow an accompanying key; attached `fzf-tmux` sizes are validated.
Also: Terminal input and gap-line rendering fixes; reload focus events now fire; zsh completion and fzf-tmux security fixes.
fzf v0.74.5 from the release binaries or documented installation methods. Preserving zoom with `--popup` requires tmux 3.8+; tmux 3.7 still unzooms.
Fixed and improved
`--popup` no longer unzooms a zoomed pane on tmux 3.8+. On tmux 3.7 it still unzooms to avoid a tmux 3.7b crash.

Unrecognized escape sequences no longer leak trailing bytes into the query, and a key arriving in the same read as an escape sequence is no longer lost.

`--gap-line` no longer cuts a grapheme cluster when filling the final cells of a line.

zsh completion creates its FIFO in a private temporary directory instead of a predictable path, addressing GHSA-7rj6-7pqx-v7rm.
