What changed in v1.0.89
ctx_insight launches a local dashboard. Routing falls back to native tools when MCP is unavailable; fixes address Linux crashes, Windows hook paths, concurrent indexing, and dashboard installation.
Install context-mode v1.0.89 from npm or upgrade the client plugin; restart the client to load updated hooks.
New things you can do
Inspect tool usage, session activity, errors, and work patterns in a local dashboard.

Fixed and improved
Dashboard files, dependencies, and plugin paths are repaired across v1.0.82–v1.0.88 so npm and upgraded plugin installs can open Insight.
Linux with Node.js 22.13+ can use built-in SQLite to avoid the reported native-addon crash; corrupt database recovery and spurious MCP disconnects are also addressed.

Hook paths with spaces are quoted, and stale WAL/SHM files no longer prevent creation of fresh databases.
Read the evidence
Concurrent indexing and trigram searches retry transient SQLite lock contention instead of immediately failing.
Read the evidence
npm installs include the OpenClaw installer, and the MCP handshake identifies OpenClaw instead of an inherited VS Code environment.
Read the evidence
Duplicate hook registration in plugin hooks and settings no longer causes the same hook to run twice.
