Grab a region or window and add padding, a background, rounded corners and a shadow, annotate it, hide secrets, or turn selected text into a code card, then copy or save it.

What you can do with Postcard

Frame a screenshot with padding, aspect ratio, rounded corners, shadow, crop, an optional title bar and inset, and a background of your choice.

Since v2.2.0
Good to know

Omarchy plugin only; read the source first, since plugins run unsandboxed in your shell process.

Annotate a screenshot with arrows, boxes, ellipses, highlighter, text labels, numbered steps, spotlight and a magnifier lens, with undo and redo.

1 other tool for annotate screenshot
Since v2.2.0

Pixelate emails, API keys, JWTs, AWS and GitHub tokens, card numbers, IBANs, IP addresses and phone numbers in one click, or copy the screenshot's text by OCR.

1 other tool for redact screenshot
Since v2.2.0
Good to know

Pixelation is destructive. Card numbers are Luhn-checked; dates, versions, hashes and loopback addresses are left alone.

Turn selected text into a syntax-highlighted code card in the same frame, with language, font size, line numbers and themes.

Since v2.2.0

Pick backgrounds from auto, gradients, flat colors, your theme or wallpaper, make your own colors and gradients, and save the whole look as a named preset.

Since v2.2.0

Put several screenshots on one card, side by side or stacked, with an arrow pointing from one shot to another.

Since v2.2.0

Capture a region, window or screen (optionally after a delay) and copy or save it as PNG, JPEG or WebP at 1x to 3x, or drag it into another app.

Since v2.2.0
Good to know

The clipboard always gets a PNG.

Drive the editor from the command line with `omarchy-shell shell call tahayvr.postcard` to capture, style, annotate, redact and save in scripts or key bindings.

Since v2.2.0
Good to know

Calls take one argument split on spaces; captures and exports answer `ok` at once, so scripts poll `info` to wait.

Renamed to Postcard; `omarchy plugin update` cannot cross it. Run `omarchy plugin remove tahayvr.omasnap`, then `omarchy plugin add https://github.com/tahayvr/postcard.git --enable`, and change `tahayvr.omasnap` to `tahayvr.postcard` in bindings, `shell.json` and scripts.
