Lock Screen Explorer v1.7.7

Unlock the screen by touching a FIDO2 security key, with the password still one Tab away.

Before you upgrade to v1.7.7

If the shell crashes while the display is blanked, the displays stay on for the rest of the login instead of blanking again.

Behavior changedAffects: Setups where a monitor drops off the bus when it sleeps, such as DisplayPort on NVIDIA

What changed in v1.7.7

Security key unlock through its own PAM service, omarchy-lock-fido2, set up once with bash extras/setup-fido2.sh. Boot screens made from a design now follow the display's aspect ratio. A monitor that disconnects when blanked no longer crashes the locked shell in a loop. Groups v1.7.2 to v1.7.7.

Also: Hardened file writes and the boot rotation's root helper; Weather design caps what it reads from wttr.in.

v1.7.7; security key unlock needs a key enrolled through Omarchy's Setup > Security > Fido2.
