ai-usagebar v0.4.5

See how much of your Claude plan's session and weekly limits you have used, right in Waybar.

What changed in v0.4.5

First releases (v0.1.0 to v0.4.5). The ai-usagebar binary prints Waybar JSON per vendor (Anthropic via ~/.claude/.credentials.json, OpenAI Codex via ~/.codex/auth.json, Z.AI via ZAI_API_KEY, OpenRouter via OPENROUTER_API_KEY); ai-usagebar-tui shows one tab per vendor. It takes claudebar's flags and placeholders (--format, --tooltip-format, --icon, --pace-tolerance, --color-*), and --cycle-next/--cycle-prev switch the vendor shown.

Also: Settings overlay in the TUI (s) to pick the primary vendor and enter API keys, saved with chmod 600; config edits signal Waybar to refresh at once; timestamps in local time.

cargo install ai-usagebar, cargo binstall ai-usagebar, or the AUR packages ai-usagebar and ai-usagebar-bin (x86_64 and aarch64 Linux).

New things you can do

Bind --cycle-next/--cycle-prev to on-scroll-up/down; {vendor_short} labels the vendor shown; [ui] primary sets the default.

AddedUse one bar item for several AI vendors and scroll to switch between them.
Read the evidence
