Release /
gitsigns.nvim v0.7
Distinguish staged changes and navigate or preview their hunks.
Before you upgrade to v0.7
3 to fixReplace removed `config.keymaps` with mappings defined in `on_attach`, using `vim.keymap.set`.
Move `signs.*.hl`, `numhl` and `linehl` customizations to the documented `GitSigns*` highlight groups using `nvim_set_hl` or `:highlight`; the config fields are deprecated.
Git-directory changes use file events; `watch_gitdir.interval` no longer controls polling.
Diff options follow whitespace flags in `diffopt`, and comparisons can target the working file.
The preview window follows the cursor during scrolling without moving while the preview itself is focused.
What changed in v0.7
Adds staged signs and staged-hunk navigation/preview, and requires Neovim 0.8. Removed keymap configuration must move to `on_attach`.
Install v0.7; requires Neovim >= 0.8.0 and Git.
New things you can do
Distinguish staged changes and navigate or preview their hunks.
Fixed and improved
Staging on Windows no longer includes an unwanted carriage return; resetting a buffer no longer inserts an extra newline.
