Context Mode v1.0.146
Keep Context Mode tools available after an idle pause in your coding session.
Before you upgrade to v1.0.146
1 to fixThe plugin registers tools natively and suppresses duplicate legacy MCP tools; malformed arguments produce validation errors.
Remove legacy `mcp.context-mode` from `opencode.json` when using `plugin: ["context-mode"]`; the plugin now owns tool registration.

What changed in v1.0.146
The idle-shutdown policy is rolled back, Pi’s bridge timeout is removed for tool calls, and native OpenCode tool input is validated. Storage location overrides and literal source filtering are added or repaired.
Install context-mode v1.0.146 or upgrade the client plugin; Node.js 22.5+ or Bun is required. Restart the client to load updated hooks.
New things you can do
Choose where Context Mode stores session and memory data.

Fixed and improved
Pi tool calls are no longer cut off by the bridge’s hardcoded 120-second timer; executor-level timeouts remain available.
Read the evidence
Codex `exec_command` inputs are checked using the command policy; Codex reads settings under `CODEX_HOME` or `~/.codex`.
Read the evidence
Source filters treat `_` and `%` literally instead of matching unrelated labels; Node SQLite waits for locks instead of failing immediately.
Pi, OMP, and OpenClaw session events use the same database locations as timeline search and stats.
Generated workspace hooks use portable CLI commands rather than machine-specific Node paths; JetBrains Copilot receives the same fix.
Read the evidence
Tool schemas work with KiloCode’s Zod 4 runtime rather than crashing during plugin registration.
