Measure and correct your laptop speakers, compare the sound, and exchange calibrations with people using the same model.
What you can do with Omarchy Speaker Calibrator
Measure your laptop speakers with a microphone and apply a correction from the Omarchy panel.
Since v1.0.1
Good to know
Needs a quiet room and a usable microphone; Bluetooth headset inputs are unsuitable. Failed quality checks prevent installation.
Compare corrected playback with the plain speakers at matched loudness.
Since v1.0.1
Good to know
Bypass matches levels by turning the plain output down.
Measure through the installed correction and refine it from the measured result.
Since v1.0.1
Good to know
Needs the measurement setup; deep bass is muted during the check and refinements must pass quality gates.
Choose flat or warm voicing, bass level and how much lost volume to restore.
Since v1.0.1
Good to know
More restored volume makes the limiter work harder at full volume.
Reduce a measured left-right volume imbalance at your listening position.
Since v1.0.1
Good to know
Only trims the louder side when the difference exceeds measurement variation; unavailable for built-in microphone measurements.
Adjust bass and treble compensation automatically as listening volume falls.
Since v1.0.1
Good to know
Requires the background loudness service; full volume is the reference.
Hear harmonics that suggest bass notes too low for the speakers to reproduce.
Since v1.0.1
Good to know
Suggests low notes using their harmonics; it does not extend the speakers' physical bass response.
Compare the response curves measured by internal and external microphones.
Since v1.0.1
Good to know
Keeps the latest measurement from each microphone kind; built-in microphones measure from inside the laptop.

Preview a shared calibration for your laptop model, then keep it or return to your previous sound.
Since v1.2.0
Good to know
Requires an available profile for the same model and consent to online lookup; scores describe measurement evidence, not a listening guarantee.
Publish your measured calibration for other people using the same laptop model.
Since v1.2.0
Good to know
Public under your GitHub account and CC0; first sharing asks for confirmation. Uses signed-in gh or a clipboard-and-browser fallback; recordings are not uploaded.
Export or load a calibration as a file to exchange with another user.
Since v1.2.0
Good to know
Panel imports come from Downloads; hardware mismatches warn before installation and files outside allowed filter limits are refused.
Export your calibration as an Omarchy vendor tuning and audition it beside your current calibration.
Since v1.2.0
Good to know
Exports omit loudness compensation and volume following. Listen on the hardware and fill in validated_by before offering it to Omarchy; submission is not automatic.
Calibrate Apple Silicon speakers using the built-in microphone array on Asahi Linux.
Since v1.2.0
Good to know
Expose the raw microphone array in the user copy of 99-asahi.conf with hide-parent = false, then restart WirePlumber; leave the speaker entry hidden and revisit the copy after asahi-audio updates.
Check whether microphone processing compresses measurement levels before calibrating.
Since v1.2.0
Good to know
The command uses quiet probes; --bypass repeats them with exposed processing switches disabled and restores those switches afterwards.
From v1.0.2, remove `--channel` from `verify-json` calls. Checks use the calibration's recorded microphone and channels; reconnect that microphone if it is absent.
Action requiredInferredAffects: Scripts passing `verify-json --channel` and users checking a calibration without its original microphone.
New calibrations enable volume-following loudness compensation by default; existing profiles retain their setting. It can be switched off under Advanced.
Behavior changedInferredAffects: Users creating a new calibration.
Preview a calibration shared for your laptop model and keep it without making your own microphone measurement.
Details
v1.2.0 adds registry lookup, profile sharing, calibration-file import/export and vendor-tuning previews. The grouped releases also pin checks to their original microphone, improve measurement handling, replace the bass add-on and change new-calibration defaults.
Also: Share and export profiles, try Omarchy vendor tunings, calibrate Asahi speakers and use deep bass without an add-on.
Tags v1.0.2 and v1.2.0; existing calibrations are kept. Measuring needs python-numpy and python-scipy; playback uses PipeWire and lsp-plugins-lv2. Registry lookup needs consent; sharing uses your GitHub account.

Measure your laptop speakers from the Omarchy bar and listen through a correction fitted to the measurement.

The panel measures each speaker, checks the sweeps and installs accepted corrections as a PipeWire output. The grouped v1.0.1 update refreshes microphone comparisons after measurements and limits loudness-compensation gain.
Also: Compare corrected and plain playback, check the result, adjust voicing and compare microphones.
Tags v1.0.0 and v1.0.1; install with Omarchy's plugin manager. Requires PipeWire and lsp-plugins-lv2; the panel offers python-numpy and python-scipy for measuring.
