Omarchy Speaker Calibrator v1.2.0
Preview a calibration shared for your laptop model and keep it without making your own microphone measurement.
Before you upgrade to v1.2.0
2 to fixRemove calls to `install-bass-enhancer` from scripts: that command is gone because deep bass is built in. Use `deep-bass-toggle` to switch the effect.
From v1.0.2, remove `--channel` from `verify-json` calls. Checks use the calibration's recorded microphone and channels; reconnect that microphone if it is absent.
Measurements now stop before probing if sound is already playing through the speakers; pause playback before measuring.

A replacement calibration now plays as a preview and waits for a keep-or-revert decision; the first successful calibration still installs directly.

New calibrations enable volume-following loudness compensation by default; existing profiles retain their setting. It can be switched off under Advanced.
Bass and loudness-level switches now apply live without refitting the calibration.
What changed in v1.2.0
v1.2.0 adds registry lookup, profile sharing, calibration-file import/export and vendor-tuning previews. The grouped releases also pin checks to their original microphone, improve measurement handling, replace the bass add-on and change new-calibration defaults.
Also: Share and export profiles, try Omarchy vendor tunings, calibrate Asahi speakers and use deep bass without an add-on.
Tags v1.0.2 and v1.2.0; existing calibrations are kept. Measuring needs python-numpy and python-scipy; playback uses PipeWire and lsp-plugins-lv2. Registry lookup needs consent; sharing uses your GitHub account.

Fixed and improved
Deep bass now uses PipeWire's built-in nodes; the bankstown add-on and its build are no longer needed.

v1.0.2 repaints comparison curves when data changes or the panel reopens and adjusts the vertical range for larger differences.

Measurement avoids empty microphone jacks, remembers device choices and can fall back among built-in microphones when the selected one hears nothing.
The level search can lower an overly sensitive microphone temporarily, while measurements disable exposed gain/noise processing switches and restore settings afterwards.

Cancelling a measurement now stops its recording and playback processes instead of leaving the microphone held.
Volume changes now ramp the compensation and settle bursts of volume-key events to avoid crackling during adjustment.
Limiter timing now prevents the reported bass distortion when player volume exceeds 100 percent; the change adds 10 ms of latency.
