Framelink MCP for Figma v0.8.0
Keep receiving progress while large Figma designs and image downloads are processed.
Before you upgrade to v0.8.0
3 to fixReplace `SSEClientTransport` with `StreamableHTTPClientTransport`; use POST at `/mcp` or `/sse`. Stop using `/messages`, GET/DELETE streams, and persistent `mcp-session-id` state.

Call `getServerConfig()` without the old Boolean argument; await `simplifyRawFigmaObject` and `extractFromDesign`. Pass a server factory as the third argument to `startHttpServer`.
What changed in v0.8.0
Tools send progress when clients provide a progress token; clients that reset timeouts on progress can keep long requests alive. HTTP now uses stateless Streamable HTTP, and image downloads resolve under --image-dir or IMAGE_DIR.
Also: Animated GIF downloads, configurable image destinations, SVG and layout fixes, and stateless HTTP connections.
Install [email protected]; requires Node.js >=18.0.0 and Figma API credentials.
Fixed and improved
Receive progress during large fetches; progress-aware clients can reset timeouts. Image-filled frames retain structure, and primary-axis alignment no longer becomes `stretch` merely because children fill it.
Download animated GIF embeds using `gifRef`; choose `--image-dir` or `IMAGE_DIR`. SVG downloads avoid raster-processing errors, and v0.7.1 fixes drive-root validation in the tool.
Each HTTP request gets its own server and transport, allowing concurrent clients without the earlier shared-transport conflict.
