Omastorm v0.1.3
Reopen the radar where you left it, and pick your starting place from a searchable list of towns when Omarchy has no weather location.
Before you upgrade to v0.1.3
1 to fix`Shift+H` now opens the location picker instead of saving the station as home; `0` resets to the configured or weather location instead of the home view.
What changed in v0.1.3
The map centre, zoom and UI radar lock are saved in `~/.local/state/omastorm/state.json`; `config.toml` gains `center_lat`, `center_lon` and `locked_radar` and drops `home_site` and `follow`. The popover offers “Choose a location” and `Shift+H` opens a picker that searches towns of 5,000+ people or accepts latitude and longitude. `0` resets to the configured or weather location.
Also: Location order: `config.toml` centre, remembered view, Omarchy weather, then the picker; nothing fetches your position at launch. Engine `engine-0.1.2` bundles a GeoNames gazetteer.
Omarchy 4 on x86_64; `omarchy plugin update com.omastorm.radar`. Engine `engine-0.1.2` is pinned and fetched automatically.
New things you can do
Come back to the same map centre, zoom and radar lock the next time you open the popover or window.
Start the map at your Omarchy weather location, or choose a place by name or coordinates when none is set.
Fixed and improved
The location picker searches a bundled GeoNames gazetteer of towns with 5,000+ people and accepts latitude and longitude; `Shift+H` opens it.
